Thank You To All For Making Pirate Festival a Huge Success!
The Kalmar Nyckel Foundation wants to thank everyone who helped make our Pirate Festival a HUGE success! On Saturday, July 8th we hosted the event, with pirate re-enactors, crafts, activities for kids, music, food trucks, and much more. Over 2,500 guests came throughout the day to our shipyard, museum, and Ft. Christina Park! We were so happy to host such a wonderful event! Special thanks to the Vigilant Crew and the Crewe of the Archangel for their participation. Also, thank you to our sponsors, ShopRite, The Kenny Family Foundation, Wawa, Diamond State Recycling, Diver Chevrolet, Christiana Care and the City of Wilmington for making the event possible! We are already looking forward to next year's festival!
