Tickets are on sale now for the 2017 King Neptune Gala celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the Kalmar Nyckel and honoring Gerret Copeland on September 23rd at 6 p.m. The evening will include food stations with local celebrated chefs, silent and live auction and the presentation of King Neptune Award.

Fun Activities for Families

Tours of the Kalmar Nyckel and the Tatiana and Gerret Copeland Maritime Center, wood carving demonstration, Wilmington Fire Boat, Water Taxi cruises on the Christina, historical reenactors, music, cannon demonstrations and other activities for children.
Publicly celebrating the 20th Anniversary and recognizing those who created the Kalmar Nyckel with stories, music and tributes concluding with refreshments and birthday cake.
ANNIVERSARY CHAMPAGNE CRUISE
Sunday, September 17, 2017 - 11:00 am to 12:30 pm
Start the 20th Anniversary Celebrations aboard the Kalmar Nyckel with a special once in a life time champagne cruise along the Christina River, sailing past the original landing spot and settlement location, and learning about the rich history of the area. Space is limited, reservations highly encourage for this sell-out cruise!
