Tour the Copeland Maritime Center! Deck Tours on Saturdays in March
Visit our Maritime Center year round to see our Watercraft of the World exhibit of 73 model ships, a 3/4-scale mode of the KALMAR NYCKEL ship deck, Finnish log cabin and learn about the science of sailing, Kalmar, Sweden and Wilmington's train and ship-building history. Saturday (only) Ship Tours on March 16, 23 and 30 from 10 am - 4 pm. Maritime Center winter hours: Monday-Friday: 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm, Saturdays 10 am - 4 pm. Closed on Sundays.
Celebrate the Festival at the Fort- Sunday, April 28, 12-4pm!
Visit the Copeland Maritime Center, Fort Christina Park and celebrate spring and colonial-era life in the Delaware Valley on Sunday, April 28! Enjoy children's games, crafts and vendors, ceremonies, live music, Kalmar Nyckel ship tours and Old Swedes Historic Site. Details are coming!

Save the Date! Wilmington Pirate Festival at the Kalmar Nyckel Shipyard and Fort Christina Park returns with new and exciting pirate-themed activities, entertainment and more for families and pirates of all ages. LEGO Shipbuilding Day 2019 - Success!
LEGO fans of all ages & skill levels came to our 4th annual LEGO Shipbuilding Day on Sat. March 2nd to build ship replicas and design their own models in our Free-Play room. Contests for Maritime Center-Build and Home-Build models had loads of entries by ages. Thanks to all who participated and to our sponsor, Discover!
