From field trips and classroom programs to summer camp events and community outreach, the Kalmar Nyckel and Copeland Maritime Center offer excitement and education. Students explore a range of hands-on, educational opportunities and experience history by living it.
Field Trips
Give students an unforgettable experience with a field trip on our Copeland Maritime Campus and the Tall Ship of Delaware. Students will discover the day in a life of a sailor, navigation, teamwork, STEM concepts, and much more on ship and shore.
Classroom Programs
We bring innovative programs into classrooms across Delaware and the Delaware Valley, including our new Five Ways to Freedom: Navigating Delaware's Underground Railroad Network and award-winning Starting A Colony programs which are free to Delaware students this year.
