When you become a Kalmar Nyckel Foundation member, you support our education programs for children, maintain Kalmar Nyckel, and can enjoy the benefits of membership.

Membership Benefits

Become a member and explore our exhibits with a new audio tour, to launch in late May/early June. Enjoy the benefits below as well as free and discounted events throughout the year.

Membership Tiers

  • Student/Volunteer/Senior ($40 or 2-yr. $75) Open to students, Kalmar Nyckel Foundation active volunteers, and seniors 65+. All membership benefits for 1 person (listed above).
  • Individual ($60 or 2-yr. $95) All membership benefits for 1 adult (listed above).
  • Family ($85 or 2-yr. $145) All membership benefits for 2 adults and up to 4 children or grandchildren under 18 years of age.
  • Supporting ($250 or 2-yr. $450) The benefits of a Family Membership plus 2 sail passes.
  • Crown and Anchor Society ($1,000-$2,499) The benefits of a Supporting Membership, two additional sail passes, plus invitations to special Crown and Anchor events, Crown and Anchor lapel pin and free admission to all Council of American Maritime Museums (CAMM).
  • Navigator's Circle ($2,500 to $4,999) Our Navigator's Circle honors supporters who give $2,500 or more in a year with opportunities to attend special events with the Kalmar Nyckel Foundation community as well as exclusive benefits. 
  • Admiral’s Circle ($5,000 and above) Donors who give at this leadership level receive Navigator’s Circle benefits. We are grateful for this very generous  support.
