Education Volunteers

Help us keep history alive by becoming an education volunteer with the Kalmar Nyckel Foundation. No experience needed.

Kalmar Nyckel Foundation education programs offer hands-on learning experiences that are not only fun and exciting, but also informative. We teach more than 5,000 students every year and have a range of volunteer opportunities for anyone looking to get involved with educating children throughout the Delaware Valley.

Become A Volunteer

Teaching experience is not required to become an education volunteer. There are many opportunities, ranging from aiding in-classroom instruction to helping deliver field trips,  to joining our sailing crew for education sails.

We provide new volunteers with educational resources and on-the-job training with our education team. If you are interested in signing up to volunteer or are interested in joining our sailing crew, please complete a volunteer application.
